Arnold and
Staff made the impossible happen for us. He delivered 21 beautiful
models in record time. This wasn't a simple order of 21 of the
same models, it was 4 different models with different paint schemes
and logos going to 3 different locations. He made it all happen
almost effortlessly and even took time from his holidays and weekends
to make sure everything made it on time. Can't wait till next
year to place another order from ALM. Thanks to everyone that
worked so hard to make it happen. Oh, and the models were all
flawless, beautiful models that made great gifts for our pilots.
Thanks,
Metro Jet LLC.

When my Shorts
360 model arrived I was happily surprised to see the incredible
detail that Arnold took on the model. Every time I look at it,
it provokes vivid memories of flying that aircraft. He has been
very professional throughout the process and I can't wait to order
another model of the next aircraft I fly from ALM!

I got my first
ALM model from Canada today and it is a very nice and detailed
model. It is a Twin Otter of Eastern Metro Express, another addition
to "Birds that I Have Flown" collection! I'll try taking
some images soon, although my old tarmac piece became non-operational
about 2 years ago! For any custom model need I highly recommend
the folks at ALM. Great communication throughout the ordering
period. Thanks to Dave M for recommending this custom model manufacturer
alternative!

Just wanted to let
you know that the Perimeter Metro you had in stock arrived before
Christmas - and my friend loved it! It was truly the perfect gift
and the detail was amazing.

I have been
using ALM for over a year now. I am having my entire flying history
made for me.

Today I picked
up the long awaited Supermarine Stranraer I had ordered from ALM,
I can't remember when I ordered this but as it was a new and odd
airframe I was asking for, I stressed that I'd rather wait for
quality than receive a bang up rush job. I am not sorry I did
this. The airframe on this is as perfect as it gets with carved
mahogany, the dimensions are accurate with none of the usual fat
spots that carved models are famous for, the wings have the proper
dihedral and sweep and the struts have the correct rake and airfoil
shape. The wings and tail are scalloped and the amplitude of the
scallops are a tad high but do not distract from the model. The
overall finish is as smooth as a Bader with the graphics straight
and the correct colours where applied, the windscreens and pax
windows are bang on the lettering is for the most part superb,
the registration is straight top and bottom, the logo is awesome
and the titles lettering is acceptable, there are a couple of
the small print areas that looks like the artist had a hangover
but I don't expect miracles with hand printing that small, stand
back a couple of feet and it looks like a decal. The detail on
this includes cleats on the nose, properly proportioned handrails
on the chine and all the bracing wires between the wing struts
as well as on the pontoons. As mahogany models go (and I have
over 50 of the things here) I would rate this right up beside
a Bader DC-6B, the Bader excels in some areas and the ALM excels
in others so it's a wash. The price however is about half of a
Bader and you only pay a deposit up front. I have wanted a Strannie
in my collection since I started collecting and this one is of
an airplane I played in when I was a kid as it slowly deteriorated
behind the PWA hangar at YVR, must have logged 20,000 hours in
her before a Shorts Belfast came and took her away, she lives
on, fully restored in the RAF Hendon Museum in London wearing
her wartime colours.

After being
ignored by the other guys, I went to ALM and they made up my Banshee
well beyond my expectation.
